Description
Go Fast, Turn Left: Voices from Orange County Speedway journeys to the grassroots of stock car racing in Rougemont, North Carolina, the site of the original Trico Motor Speedway built in the early 1960’s. The speedway is one of the South’s unique short tracks where Jeff Gordon, Scott Riggs, Jimmy Johnson, Jeff and Ward Burton, and many other racing greats have competed. The film follows drivers, dedicated family members, and track officials who share insights into the challenges and rewards of competing in the minor leagues of the sport during the 1997 racing season..
